Tauheed Islamic Centre (TIC) was established on March 11, 1994 (28th Ramadan 1415). TIC is a registered Muslim organization. In addition to being a religious organization, TIC is also a place for socializing.
TIC is a multicultural organization with members from several nationalities. Many of our members were born and raised in Norway. Our events are therefore in several languages, including Norwegian.
Some important goals for TIC:
■ We are a Norwegian Muslim religious community that must follow Norwegian laws and rules for independent religious communities
■ We are politically independent and base our activities on the Quran, the teachings of the Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) and the practice of Ahlulbayt (as).
■ We shall be a common arena for Muslims for religious expression without language or cultural barriers
■ We will stimulate unity and exchange between Muslims from different parts of the world living in Norway
■ We will stimulate dialogue between different groups and organizations of Muslims
■ We will stimulate dialogue between Muslims and non-Muslims
